Bottom-rankedKahu is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to second ranked Queens (6-4) 84-59 on Friday evening. Tokomanawa Q. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Kahu 's 34. Tokomanawa Q. outrebounded N. Kahu 51-38 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by the former international forward Penina Davidson (190-1995, college: California) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points and 21 rebounds and Louise Brown supported her with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Four Queens players scored in double figures. Even 11 points and 7 rebounds by American forward Erin Bollmann (180-1994, college: SEMO) did not help to save the game for N. Kahu . Her fellow American import forward Haliegh Reinoehl (188-1998, college: Akron) added 9 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tokomanawa Q. maintains second position with 6-4 record having just one point less than leader Whai, which they share with Mainland P. and S. Hoiho. N. Kahu at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost.
